In Vince's section he shared a lullaby he used to sing to his son and I thought that was a sweet sharing so I think it would be nice if people share those songs they sang to put their munchkins to sleep or the songs that were sang to you if you're barely out of the munchkin phase.
My mother sang this song to us and I've heard all my sisters sing it to their munchkins more than once.

My Dad used to sing this to me, he tweaked the words a little but I love this song still. I sang it to my kids.

Two songs and they still sing them cause they're goofy but I'm glad or I wouldn't know the songs you know how I mean? They are both from the same singer.

From the album "Vince Sings!" (and almost at the upper limits of my register given that I haven't been singing actively for a long time):

You have a nice voice. Do you like Karaoke?

I do, but it's been a long time. I like to throw people for a loop by doing a set with ballads and then finishing with "Ace of Spades" from Motörhead, doing my best Lemmy impression.

Here's another one I liked to sing. Again, not the original but a more somber setting - almost modal (instead of staying in D major, using D dominant 7th with some A minor thrown in)

I think I have heard that song before but it was more peppy. I think I like the pep one better.

I'll guess you like the James Taylor version. Your grandma likes James Taylor so it's probably more familiar to you.

I have a couple of CDs that a friend made when Noah was born and I've used them for all of my children. I don't want a hard time about the CDs. I've never owned an MP3 player so CDs it was. I used to put one on and rock or pat my babe to sleep. They were songs of faith, peaceful and no singing, just music. I would sing a little with them but once they started to drift off, it was just the music. It worked well and before long they associated that music with going to sleep.

I've been trying really hard to record this one (countless takes), but it's in a range that makes me jump in and out of my head voice and I think it sounds like garbage. And while Paul McCartney did it also, he is generally considered a better singer than me.
