In my church we have a Thanksgiving tree that will eventually become the Christmas tree (artificial of course) and on the Thanksgiving tree we can all add an ornament that we make to list the things we're thankful for and I always love doing that tree. Even before I could write, I would draw pictures of the things I'm thankful for. Those things have gone from things to people. So I think we should make our own tree of those things or people we are thankful for.

What I, Adelaide Grace, am thankful for:
1. My dad. My dad is the most important person in MY world. He has loved me no matter how unlovable I act. He never gives up on me even when I seem hopeless. He's been my coach, my cheerleader, my guide.
2. My SIL Carol. She showed up when she had no reason to. She's given her all when she's had nothing to gain. She was the glue that put all the fractures back together again.
3. Rob, Kim and clan. They are the family that showed me the way back to my family.
4. My brother Ricky. He appeared when others were disappearing.
5. People on this forum who have somehow managed to laugh when I'm sure I had you wanting to pull out your hair.
6. For the special days and the ordinary ones. Good health. A home, good food, nice clothes. All those things that I take for granted but others long for.

What I Mandy am thankful for is:
1. My family who get on my nerves a lot but I still love them. 2. My friends I made here. You all keep me sane and make it so I don't feel alone. 3. My parents being able to make sure we have a place to live and food to eat and all the blessings we have.

My husband and my children. My grandmother who left me the house we live in. It's old but it has good bones. I'm thankful that my children have never gone to be hungry. The love of family and friends.

You know I just got so many blessings that I could do this all day and still not get done. I guess I will give the top five.
I Roseanna Elizabeth Kimberly am thankful for:
1. I got parents who love me no matter what I done and they take very good care of me and my sisters. 2. I got a very good older sister who sometimes fights with me but won't let nobody else fight with me. 3. I got a younger sister who is my friend. 4. I got three sets of grandparents who all like to spoil us kids. Plus I got so many aunts and uncles and cousins who make it fun to be in this family. 5. I got a boyfriend who makes me feel like I am special.

This is a nice thread Addy.
What am I grateful for? *My amazing parents. It was so much fun growing up in their house. I'm so thankful that I still have them. *My wonderful husband. He spoils me like no other. *My beautiful daughters. They are my heart beat. You don't know what love is until you love a child. *My crazy and fun siblings. They were fun to grow up with and they're insanely fun to grow old with. *Good friends who are real with me. *My home and all the advantages I've been blessed with.

My daughter is what I'm most thankful for. Reconciling with my parents and giving my daughter the grandparents she always wanted.

I'm thankful for my goofy son who is now a very complicated teen.
I'm thankful for friends and family who understand the importance of mental health.
I'm thankful for mental health professionals who help us try to keep things in balance.
I'm thankful for all of you here, forming yet another part of my extended family.
Also, I'm thankful to have found my glasses!

I'm thankful for the mothers of my children. They chose to give them life and by doing so they gave me my life. I'm thankful for my wife, she's as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. I'm thankful for my daughters and all the messiness that comes with having children. It's been the best adventure of my life. I'm thankful for my parents and siblings. They helped me discover who I am and who I want to be. I'm thankful for my friends who keep me humble. I'm thankful to those here who have supported my daughters with your wisdom and caring. It does take a village to raise a child. I'm thankful that all of you have chosen to be part of that village.

It's not thanksgiving here so does that mean I don't need to be thankful for anything? I'm thankful I don't have to eat turkey.

It's not thanksgiving here so does that mean I don't need to be thankful for anything? I'm thankful I don't have to eat turkey. I would be ok not eating turkey also. Growing up our thanksgiving meals were often linguine with shrimp and clam sauce or lasagna.

I'm thankful for: My family (most of the time), good health, being able to have a good education, women's rights (even though we're going to have to fight harder for them and to keep them), freedom.

I'm thankful for:
My husband, who puts up with me and treats me like Gold.
My kids: The reason I breathe.
My parents: Even though they're gone, they gave me one heck of a life.
My siblings: Well, most of them lol but they keep me laughing.
This forum: Each and every one of you, even when you drive me nuts or I drive you nuts.
My friends: They keep me young.

It's not Thanksgiving here but I can still be thankful. My infuriating husband. He drives me troppo but I don't know what I would do without him. My kids who make me laugh, scream, grow older and love life. Wonderful friends and that includes the people here. This forum.
