In class today we played a game called Betrayed and what it was is my teacher picked one betrayer and we had to figure it out but if the betrayer looked at us and then our teacher we was betrayed and out of the game. I got betrayed first grrrrr. Only then I watched the betrayer betray everybody else and he was good at it so nobody guessed him until there was only him and one more left so the one left knew who the betrayer is. It was fun even if I got out first. This week we got to journal about betrayal because you know Jesus was betrayed by Judas with a kiss and then even Peter betrayed him but we know Jesus forgave Peter cause Peter went on to do really great things. My teacher didn't say about Judas but I wonder if Jesus forgave him to. Do you think he did? It hurts your feelings when you get betrayed by somebody you really trust and so Jesus must of got his feelings hurt when it happened to him. Do you think Jesus forgives the really really really bad people in the world? Like how about Hitler or Trump? Or that guy who just killed all them Asian women? It somehow don't seem fair for them to go to Heaven just like them of us who really are trying very hard to be good people. Does it seem fair to you?

I don't believe that any of those people went to heaven honey.
I think if you follow the ten commandments then you are good.

God is supposed to be willing to forgive them if they're sorry. I think it would be a very cruel God to not forgive Judas. Judas HAD to betray Jesus in order to fulfill God's plan. Judas was created to betray Jesus.

Didn't Judas hang himself or was that just in a movie I watched? Isn't suicide considered a sin meriting a one way ticket to the eternal tropics?

In the Catholic faith, we believe in purgatory where you will pay for every sin. This means we don't believe the evil person who repents gets a get out of jail free card.

We have to be careful with judging someone evil and unworthy of Heaven because we don't know what is in the heart of another person. We also don't know how much of their behaviour is the result of mental health problems. God knows what is in our hearts so he alone can judge us.

There is no justice in allowing someone to murder and steal and break every one of the commandments into Heaven to dwell next to the one who followed those commandments all their life. We may not be able to judge but we have to hope our neighbor in Heaven isn't Hitler. Did anyone else laugh when read Hitler or Trump?
If I were God for a day I would set this world straight.

Something we was told in class today is if the men who whipped Jesus and nailed him and killed him was sorry before they died and asked for forgiveness then God would of forgiven them even if they killed his own real son and so they could be in Heaven. God wants everybody to be in Heaven but we got to want God and Heaven first cause he won't force it on us.

Isn't your school associated with a church you're supposed to go to?

Its not denomital I don't remember the word right now only it means it don't belong to like one church like the Baptist school might. I was going to go to some churches and my mom and dad said they would take me but covid took away all of that. I think when things finally aren't crazy about covid no more then I would like to go see how some churches are. Scarlette wants for me to go to a Catholic church but I would like to go see this church that Malachi goes to. His whole entire family goes to it and when they can't cause of numbers of covid stuff then they watch it together online. He told me he likes his church and that I could sit with him when I go so I would like to go there. I used to want to see about going to the Lutheran church but not so much now. I think my dad would like more if the church I go to believes in evolution you know. I don't think it should matter when the world got made or how old it is or nothing like that but my dad takes science very serious.

The word is non-denominational.
