Wait! No more purgatory? Where did it go?  My teachers still teach about it. Now what am I supposed to do with all my purgatory plans? Maybe you can drum up a side business selling indulgences to your unsuspecting teachers and classmates. Who knows, it might lead to another reformation! |

Catholics don’t believe in Purgatory any more, especially for baptized Catholics, so you are paroled. Are you sure you're not confusing purgatory and limbo? I thought the current Pope had introduced that, but I may have misheard that Pope Francis has definitely made some addresses and comments that appear more grace-oriented and universalist in nature (which, if I were still Catholic/Christian, I would be totally on board with) but it seems to be his own opinion and interpretation of things and nothing super official yet.
