How long are your church services, Addy? When I was growing up we went to Mass every Sunday and one of my funnier memories is of my mom shushing my youngest brother while he did his vroom vroom and drove his imaginary car while the Priest was delivering his homily.

How long are your church services, Addy? When I was growing up we went to Mass every Sunday and one of my funnier memories is of my mom shushing my youngest brother while he did his vroom vroom and drove his imaginary car while the Priest was delivering his homily. I think vroom vroom is more interesting than 98.5% of any homily I ever heard. Both my brothers were altar boys. One time they were serving a mass together and were horsing around on the altar during the priest’s homily. He stopped the homily and told them both to “knock it off” which got a big chuckle from everyone except my mom, who was attending that mass. That didn’t go well for them when they got home. |

Oh your poor mom. When Scarlette made her First Holy Communion, she played ballerina while waiting in line to receive communion. I thought her father was going to have a stroke. Rob and I had to fight the giggles. Such a little ham.

I liked our old pastor because his homily was under 5 minutes and we were in and out in under 45 minutes |

A 5 minute Homily? That's my kind of priest. I picked the masses he did because of that, but every once in awhile associate pastor Dave would fill in, and that guy loved the sound of his own voice. No way we were out in less than an hour, even if I ducked out during the closing hymn…not that I ever did that🙄 |
