Parable

Anyone got ideas for a topic for a parable? I got to write one but it seems to me that Jesus already took all the ideas for a good one.

Something about peer pressure?

I had to do something like that for religious education. I did mine about prayer.

[Rosie]

We did a lot about prayer already so I'm sick of prayer you know?  We are supposed to pray nonstop all the time every day and every minute. 

My dad said peer pressure. That would maybe be good but maybe it would be hard to. I want for this to be easy.

Pick something that has happened to you that taught you a lesson.

How about something about differences make us special?  Encouragement to be true to yourself instead of denying yourself in order to be who the crowd wants you to be.

[Rosie]

I'm still thinking about it.

[Addy]

I like being true to yourself.

[Rosie]

I thought it would be fun to do this but its not and I'm probably going to do my moms idea cause you never really know if its only a idea or if you should do it you know?

[Tatiana]

You could make it about obedience. Adults would like that so you could get an A.

[Addy]

You could make it about something simple like eating healthy or brushing your teeth.  You know eat well or get sick.  Brush your teeth or get a toothache. 
How about wearing a mask or someone could die?  Social distancing?
It doesn't have to be heavy does it?

I got to figure it out what I'm doing it on. I get a grade for it in bible class and in ELA so I got to get started on it this weekend. I don't know what it will be for sure but these ideas here give me ideas of my own to so I will see what one might be the easiest to do.

When you figure out what you're going to do I want to know.

I will.   I started it and I thought I got a lot done but its not that much and it took a long time. It is getting pictures to go with it that takes so long.
