I like them all but they do each give different feelings. Like the disturbed one it is good for a dark mood. Like the first one is more like an I give up or it is what it is. The second one is frustrated and angry even. Despairing. The third one is kind of a hopeful feeling. I like the third one the best cause I like hopeful stuff more. My mom is right that they only use there voices and not a single instrument. I like how they let each of them get a turn to shine but they do that a lot. They do a killer kind of cover of one of Queens songs. Can't spell it but its very well known. The person who is going to die one.

Easy decision. Pentatonix. I think Scott is hot. Mitch sings like an angel. Kirsten is beautiful and she has the cutest baby ever. I majorly miss Avi but Matt is amazing too. I don't think there's a better beatboxer than Kevin anywhere. Definitely my This or That is the Pentatonix version.

I do love the song Sound of Silence and I love all three of these versions of it. The first one is special to me because my grandmother was a fan of Simon and Garfunkle. On the rare occasions that I got to spend with her as a child, there was usually something Simon and Garfunkle playing in the background at some point. So, the first one comes with memories for me. The Disturbed version is interesting but it's probably my least liked one of the three. It's an interesting cover and it has a lot of oomph to it but Rosie got it right when she shared that it feels like despair and that's not how I want a song to make me feel. Pentatonix is a new journey for me. I never would have thought that I would enjoy an acapella group but Pentatonix and Home Free have changed that and I've found myself going down the acapella rabbit hole. That said, with my current music preference I will have to vote for number three, the Pentatonix version of the song.
Just a footnote and not part of the game: I think the Queen song Rosie is referring to is Bohemian Rhapsody. Everyone should know that song. Here's the Pentatonix version:

For me, while I am not the biggest Pentatonix fan, I do like the way they passed around the melody, although the key change when they sent it to the woman on the fourth verse was a bit abrupt. But I prefer the Simon & Garfunkel original for the simple two-part harmony. Plus I remember it being used in "The Graduate" along with a couple other of their songs.

Maybe it's a familial thing but my nieces have turned me into a Pentaholic. I think their voices are absolutely amazing. Right now The Prayer is playing in my background. Voices of angels. Still...there's something about the Disturbed version that gets to me, like a sucker punch. I'll pick that one because it feels the most emotional to me.

OK, here's another "this, that, or the other thing".
This is an African-American Spiritual called "Mary Don't You Weep". Three versions:
First is by the Staple Singers in the mid-1960s. It's very close to the original as far as we know (there is a video recording of sharecroppers in Georgia singing it in the early 1930s):
Next, a full-on gospel styling by Aretha Franklin in 1972 with Rev. James Cleveland and the Southern California Community Choir (she recorded an album with them called Amazing Grace that won a Grammy and still holds the record for the best selling gospel album of all time):
Lastly, before there was Pentatonix, there was Take 6 (a six-part a cappella group), formed in Alabama in 1980. This was on their first album in 1988 (also a Grammy winner) and was a big hit among us music nerds when I was a freshman music student at Loyola in New Orleans:

I thought I would like the Aretha Franklin one because I know some of her songs from my dad but I think the third one was the best. It was catchy.

I like This (number one) I like Aretha Franklin but her rendition of the song seemed to be a little much.

I think maybe I like the first one. I don't like the song really but the first one is kind of like more in the heart or something.

I liked all three versions. My favourite is the Staple Singers one, although Aretha Franklin is great as ever and Take 6 are very good, too. Maybe it's just that (as Vince wrote) the Staple Singers version is very close to the original and thus had a long time to evolve.
