Seriously.  Have you ever picked up the Bible, started from Genesis and read it through with the intention of understanding and learning?

Ruby was more inclined to believe before she picked up a Bible and started reading it for her Bible class.  Going to a Christian school has made an agnostic out of her.

Its made her get more questions at least and sometimes the bible has stuff that contradicts and so that makes you wonder.

I have to read the bible every day in school.  If God is getting all excited over a stupid apple then he's the one with problems and not us.   Then there's the slaughter of the innocents.  God was killing babies off in the old and the new testament. Like WTH kind of God would do that kind of stuff?  Why this God and not Zeus?

You can't simply read the Bible from cover to cover and think you know what's in it.  You do that and you get the fruit loops who preach about a young earth or come up with doomsday prophecies.  The Bible needs to be read while considering the historical context, the audience and the author.  If you do that, those contradictions become less important.
